audio underwear bezeichnen sich selbst gerne als disco. die disco einflüsse kann man auch nicht verleugnen, aber schon bei einer sehr oberflächlichen betrachtung entdeckt man eine vielfalt an stilistischen elementen aus bereichen wie minimal-, deep- und club-house sowie electro und experimentellem hip hop. umgesetzt wird das ganze live in einer perfekt inszenierten performance aus entertainment, gesang, musik und projektionen. auftritte von audio underwear münden immer in einer ausgelassenen party wie zuletzt ihre livegigs in dornbirn und wien im rahmen der mtv club tour.
